Wow! I can’t believe that it is our last few days at St Marys school. I started St Marys in 2006 at the age of five. I remember starting school and always being afraid to walk past the scary big kids. They were so tall and intimidating! But now I realise I am the scary big kid. Guess they weren’t so scary after all.

I’m so thankful for all the great friends I have made over the past eight years I have spent at St Marys. Aswell as so many special memories and moments that I will remember for years to come.

I would like to especially thank Mrs Wilkins. For her dedication, patience and never ending encouragement towards my learning. Thankyou for being the most amazing, lovely and supportive and teacher I could ever ask for, and would even be there for me when somedays I forgot to bring my lunch to school. You always had a banana or apple on hand!

I also can’t forget to thank Mr O'Neill for being an encouraging, approachable and funny Principle who always brings such good vibes, But don’t get on his bad side!! A big thankyou to all the other teachers who helped me to grow confidence within myself and learning.

Moving onto high school, I will never forget St Marys, The times I’ve had, the wonderful friends I’ve made, and the values that I have learnt. Although a lot of us are going our separate ways and moving onto high school. I’m sure that I won’t forget you guys and the memories that we have shared. I wish you all nothing but the very best now and in the future.

I hope we all keep in touch and I look forward to making the last few days we have together, as fun and memorable as the last eight years have been.
